Shipping/Freight Policy

Most items are in stock and will ship within 2 business days of receipt of order. If any item is on back-order IceMachinesDirect.com will notify you via e-mail or phone with the expected delivery date.

Standard Freight includes shipping to the contiguous 48 states and does not apply to Alaska and Hawaii.

All equipment is shipped via an LTL common carrier, with freight charges paid by Ice Machines Direct, LLC. Please make arrangements for unloading at your location. IceMachinesDirect.com is not responsible for unloading or to arrange unloading items from truck. If liftgate and/or inside delivery service is required, there will be additional charges from the freight company. Residential deliveries may also incur an additional charge. Deliveries to New York City may be subject to additional charges based on their respective address.

The additional charges from freight companies are as listed below:

  • Liftgate Service: $90.00
  • Inside delivery: $150.00
  • Residential delivery: $75.00

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the shipment for signs of damage, abuse or shortage. The customer should open the cartons and check contents and note any damage, abuse or shortages on the freight bill at the time of delivery. Ice Machines Direct, LLC shall not be responsible for any delays in shipment or damage caused by carrier. The common carrier to which seller shall deliver goods shipped to consignee is hereby declared as the agent of the consignee. Therefore it is the responsibility of the consignee to file claim with the carrier for lost or damaged shipments.

Most accessories and water filters will be shipped for no additional shipping/handling charges if ordered with an ice machine. Accessories and water filters ordered by themselves will be assesed a flat shipping handling charge for US addresses.
